UK fire & security compliance, digitised

One logbook for everything you're responsible for on site.

Safe CheX replaces the paper logbook in the cupboard with a single digital record for fire extinguishers, fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV — grounded in real UK standards. A Responsible Person logs in to manage the site; engineers get a quick QR-code entry for their own visits — no account needed.

No spam — one email when Phase 1 opens for early access.

You're on the list — thanks. We'll be in touch when early access opens.

The gap

Paper logbooks don't scale. Spreadsheets don't remind you.

Every UK site with fire and security equipment needs a logbook. Most still run on paper in a cupboard, or a spreadsheet nobody checks until an inspector asks for it.

The way it's done now

Paper logbooks get lost, left on-site, or filled in after the fact. No reminders. No visibility across sites. Nothing to hand an inspector except a folder and hope.

The way Safe CheX does it

One cloud record per site. Traffic-light status at a glance. Automatic reminders before anything lapses. A clean export ready for any inspector, any time.

One dashboard

Every discipline a fire & security provider covers.

Built around the same Site → Asset → Check structure throughout, so adding a new discipline for a site takes a toggle, not a rebuild.

How it works

Two ways in — one for the site, one for the visit.

Everyday checks and one-off engineer visits are different jobs, so they get different access — each suited to who's doing the work and how often.

01

Responsible Person login

Full account access for whoever manages the site — see every asset's status, run checks, review history, and export reports whenever needed.

02

Engineer QR-code entry

Visiting engineers scan a QR code tied to that visit and log their service directly — no account, no password, no friction. The record lands straight in the site's history for the Responsible Person to review.

03

Securely mounted site screen

An optional tablet or display fixed on-site gives staff a locked-down, always-available view of the building's compliance status — glanceable, tamper-resistant, and always up to date.

Where we are

Built in phases, tested on real sites before anyone else sees it.

No big-bang launch. Each phase ships small, gets used on real jobs, then the next discipline gets layered on.

Phase 0 — Extinguisher CheX

Complete

Standalone fire extinguisher audit tool. Built to learn the stack and prove the model on real jobs before anything else was layered on.

Phase 1 — Core Safe CheX

In progress

Traffic-light dashboard, expanded asset types across fire, intruder alarm and CCTV, fault tracking, and on-demand PDF export.

Phase 2 — Engineer Portal & Reseller Branding

Planned

No-login engineer input flow, multi-site roll-ups, and a white-label layer for fire & security companies managing their own clients.

Phase 3 — Platform Expansion

Exploratory

The same site-and-asset model applied to other periodic compliance checks — MEWP pre-use, PPE and harness inspections, and more.
